ACAP Summer Camp is a day camp program which combines a classroom routine with daily community activities. Our camp accepts kids as young as seven through 107 years of age. They must have a primary diagnosis of ASD in order to attend camp.
Over our summer program, campers will utilize TriMet and travel around the Portland Metro area to enjoy the best activities each neighborhood has to offer.
Activities are designed and determined by the age, interest, and abilities of each group. We pride ourselves on being client-led. That means, if a client has an interest in a particular activity, we try to find a way to incorporate it into our program.
Common destinations include OMSI, swimming pools, the zoo, local parks, Wunderland, Pietro’s Pizza, Sky High Sports, bowling, splash pads, etc.
Learning to ride the bus
We believe every client should learn how to navigate and utilize TriMet! It’s a great way to build confidence and independence!
